Other Rituals

"Other Rituals" refer to additional sacred ceremonies performed in Hinduism beyond the well-known Shradh rites. These include various prayers and offerings dedicated to ancestors, gods, and nature to seek blessings, remove negative influences, and ensure spiritual peace. Rituals like Tarpan, Havan (fire sacrifices), and offerings to sacred rivers are performed for the well-being of family members and to honor deities. Some rituals are specific to family traditions, regional customs, or performed to rectify planetary imbalances (Doshas). Each ritual holds spiritual significance, aiming to bring harmony, prosperity, and salvation for both the living and deceased souls.
